WHO'S WHO

THE CAST

Kally Duling (Sally Brown) grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska where she received a B.F.A. from Nebraska Wesleyan University. New York City: Your Basic American Monday (3Graces Theatre Co.), The $trip (Launch Pad Theatre), We're All a Little Bit Sneaky (Where Eagle's Dare), and The Game Boy (Vital Theatre.) Regional Credits: Elma in Bus Stop (Fulton Opera House,) Izzy in As It Is In Heaven (Stonington Opera House,) Michael in Peter Pan (Weathervane Theatre). Other credits include Annie in Annie Get Your Gun, Gertrude McFuzz in Seussical, the Musical, Crissy in Hair, and Carlyle in The Stonewater Rapture. Kally is so excited to be working with her big brother again; when they were children she would frequently get fired from his basement productions! www.KallyDuling.com

Marissa Hayley (Lucy van Pelt) is a native New Yorker who began her acting career at the age of 8 when she became one of the four "After These Messages" AM Posse Kids for television's ABC Saturday Morning Cartoons. Her theater credits include: Annie (National Tour), Annie Warbucks (National Tour, Variety Arts Theater), The Children (HERE Arts Center), and The Seventh Song (John Houseman Theater). In 2004, Marissa co-founded MorGold Productions, an independent production company that develops ground breaking content for film, television and the web. She has studied at the Larry Moss Studios as well as T. Schreiber Studios and has her BA in Acting and Directing from Marymount Manhattan College. Happy Birthday Lexi! www.MorGoldProductions.com

Jason J. Koth (Snoopy) has appeared in NYC productions of The Crucible and The Human Comedy, among others, and starred in the musical comedy web series No Moore. In 2004, he co-founded MorGold Productions, an independent production company that develops groundbreaking content for film, television and the web. Jason has also taught acting at The King's College, New York City. He is thrilled to be performing in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown for the first time since middle school, when he played an overwhelmingly chubby Schroeder in horizontal stripes.

Joe Lattanzi (Schroeder) is excited and scared to be participating in a musical for the first time in ten years; he's been far to busy performing in off-off-broadway Shakespeare productions (Mercutio, Laertes, Antonio, the Porter...) and student films you probably haven't seen. Shakespeare aside, Joe was last seen as Carl in The Baltimore Waltz at The Access Theatre, and as Sam in These Are Not Political Pieces, for which he received a Best Actor Nomination at the 2007 Strawberry One Act Festival. Many thanks to Joe Moran for the recruitment! BFA Acting, Marymount Manhattan College.

Joe Moran (Charlie Brown) is a New York-based actor, writer, and producer. In 2004, he co-founded MorGold Productions, an independent production company that develops ground breaking content for film, television and the web. NYC stage credits include Six Degrees of Separation, The Adding Machine, The Seagull, and The Children. Screen credits include Stuck Like Chuck (feature), The Big Breakthru (pilot), Enter the Jonas (Columbia short), Zip Code (pilot), and the musical comedy web series, No Moore. Joe is thrilled to be working with such a gifted group of artists who are willing to donate their time and talent to such an important cause. Special thanks to Ron, The Sage Theater, MMC and LT49! www.JoeMoran.info

Jason B. Schmidt (Linus van Pelt) is a NYC actor, musical comedian, and voiceover artist. As half of the comedy duo The Parodivas, he has written and co-starred in numerous variety shows, and been featured at comedy and cabaret clubs. Acting credits include: Best Little Whorehouse Goes Public (IRS Director), It's a Bird...It's Superman (Dr. Sedgwick), Cloud Nine (Betty/Edward), The Rocky Horror Show (Frank N Furter), A Year with Frog and Toad (Frog), The Vampire Lesbians of Sodom (King Carlisle/Elder Bitchy Chorus Boy), Singin' in the Rain (Diction Coach), Anything Goes (Lord Evelyn). Jason B. holds a BFA in Acting from Adelphi University. www.parodivas.com

THE CREATIVE TEAM

Michael Duling (Director) is excited to be working with some of his favorite MMC alumns and his little sister for such a wonderful cause. Off-Broadway directing credits include A Broadway Diva Christmas (starring Ellen Greene, Kathy Brier, Maya Days, Marla Schaffel, and Christine Pedi), Back In Pictures, Divas I've Done, and 2 installments of The A-Train Plays. As a producer Michael and his partner, the incomparable Tom D'Angora, have had the privilege to work with Rue McClanahan, Mary Bond Davis, Christine Pedi, Ellen Greene (CD: In His Eyes), The Kinsey Sicks, and are associate producers for the upcoming film The Big Gay Musical. He dedicates this show to his friends who have dedicated their time, money, and love to autism research and awareness. Love to Parker, Liza Minnelli, and Mr. D'Angora.

Steven Mitchell (Music Director) is a pianist with a wide range of musical experience. He is a celebrated figure in dance accompaniment worldwide and has been a music educator throughout the public schools of New York City. He was Music Director for Rosie’s Broadway Kids and most recently worked for the Metropolitan Opera in their 2008-09 season. He accompanied the off-Broadway show Circle of Friends at the American Girl Place Theater and occasionally performs in the pit of Mary Poppins. His music has been used in the film Center Stage (Columbia Pictures), Hinami (Olga Films) and the new release The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (Paramount). Steven is thrilled to work with this cast on You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.

Whitney Gardner (Associate Musical Director) is a collaborative pianist and music educator in New York City. She is also co-founder of In The Pocket NYC: a Co-op of Teaching Musicians (www.inthepocketnyc.com). When she is not teaching her beloved private students or accompanying dance classes at Ballet Academy East, she can be found playing for rehearsals and productions of as many Musicals as possible; most recently, Barter Theatre’s 5-week run of Sweeney Todd in Abingdon, VA. Whitney holds a BFA and MM in piano performance from Carnegie Mellon University. Thrilled to be a part of the Charlie Brown team!

Cheng-Huai Chuang (Costume Designer) got his start in design by dressing mannequins at his parents’ clothing store in Taipei, Taiwan, as a young boy. In high school, he designed and starred in his own fashion show, “The Little Boy’s Girl” at the Nan-Hai Art Gallery. This show led to an invitation to design costumes for an experimental theater production, “Extreme Body”. Currently a fashion design student at Parsons, “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” is his U.S. debut.

Katie Gorum (Lighting Designer) is excited to be working on You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown. A graduate of Marymount Manhattan College, Katie has worked as a Stage Manager and Lighting Designer on many NYC productions. Special thanks to everyone involved in Charlie Brown, it is awesome to be working for such a great cause.
